Star was determined to become a famous actress or comedian when her plans were derailed by witnessing a “super cute” 14-year-old boy perform a magic show. 12 years old and 'boy crazy,' she decided to pursue magic to spend time with him. Over 30 years later, she continues to use magic to forge connections. Her enduring passion for magic was fanned when she first entered a magic store where the strange gadgets, colorful scarves, world of wands, and wall of playing cards became tools for wonder. Eventually, anything that sparked her interest could be used to amaze. For instance, her love of a movie inspired her to make her Las Vegas magic debut at 15 by floating a feather as Forrest Gump. Forever a student, Star is continually honing her magic and mentalism skills under the best mentors and consultants in the world. She earned a BA in Theater, studying acting, playwriting, directing, and prop design which equipped her with skills to build original magic props. Her playwriting experience helps her design shows that are both mind-boggling and relatable. Her love of reading continues to fuel her with exciting discoveries to share.
